Marvell’s 88E6176-A1-TFJ2C000 PHY 10Mbps/100Mbps/1Gbps 1V/2.5V Chipset offers superior performance to address various Ethernet networking applications covering both Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet protocols to provide comprehensive solutions. With efficient design and a high-level of integration, it brings low power dissipation, small form factor, high performance and advanced features set. 88E6176-A1-TFJ2C000 5GE Gigabit Media Independent Interface (GMII) enables direct connection to a MAC/Switch port reducing overheads and complexities. The IC featues thermal-efficient packages for fan-less, heat-sink-less designs while keeping lowest power consumption, resulting in reduced fan requirements. It also leverages Marvell’s Virtual Cable Tester® (VCT) technology, allowing IT managers and networking equipment manufacturers to analyze quickly and remotely the quality and attributes of the cable, avoiding unnecessary equipment returns, downtime and on-site service calls. The Chipset uses advanced mixed-signal processing to perform equalization, echo and cross-talk cancellation, data recovery, and error correction at a gigabit per second data rate. The device achieves robust performance in noisy environments with very low power dissipation.
